Privacy Policy

Last updated May 25, 2026

tweets.bot is designed to be local-first and privacy-respecting. The short version: we never see your X password, the tool runs on your machine, and your prompts go to your own LLM, not through us.

Your X account and session

tweets.bot attaches to your own browser over a local debug port to use your existing logged-in session. We never ask for, see, or store your X password, and we do not log in on your behalf. Your X session stays on your machine.

Your content and your LLM

When you audit your account or draft replies, the relevant text is sent to the large language model you configure (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, or a local model) using your own API key. That data is handled under your provider's privacy policy. It does not route through our servers.

Local data

Scraped posts, drafts, voice profiles, target lists, and configuration are stored locally on your machine (in the tool's data folder). You can delete them at any time. We do not collect this data.

Account and billing data

To run a subscription we process your email and the billing details needed to manage your plan. Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card details. We use this information only to provide and support the service.

Website analytics

This marketing site may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell your personal data.

Third parties

The parties that may process your data are: your chosen LLM provider (your prompts), our payment processor (billing), and X (your own activity on the platform). Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of the account data we hold by emailing support@tweets.bot.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
